Baseball Game Preview: Bristow Pirates vs. North Rock Creek Cougars

For the second straight game, Bristow will face off against North Rock Creek. The Pirates will welcome the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Bristow is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since April 6, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of North Rock Creek by a score of 10-8.

For North Rock Creek's part, Caleb Looper tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits.

At the plate, Braden Ueltzen was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Bertram, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

The win was the sixth in a row for North Rock Creek, bringing their record up to 15-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Bristow, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
