Basketball Recap: West Springfield Takes a Loss

West Springfield was the 44-42 winner over West Potomac when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The West Springfield Spartans took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Potomac Wolverines on Friday.

West Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for West Potomac, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

West Springfield will head out to challenge Lake Braddock at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Potomac, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodson at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
