Karns City won the last time they faced Union and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Gremlins blew past the Knights/Damsels 3-0.

Karns City not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Union between 19 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-19.

Union lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Riley Kriebel, who had 13 assists and four digs. Haley Corle was another key player, getting five kills, three aces, and one block.

Karns City has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Union, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Karns City will welcome Redbank Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Clarion Area on the 17th.
