Volleyball Recap: River Mill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

River Mill lost against Woods Charter back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Wolves.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-13.

Savanna Dishmon paced River Mill's offense, picking up four kills. Dishmon got some help from Emma Honeycutt and her five assists. Dishmon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

River Mill has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Woods Charter, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, River Mill will venture away from home to face off against Discovery Charter School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woods Charter, they will host Ascend Leadership at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
