Volleyball Recap: Armuchee Find Success

Armuchee won the last time they faced Fannin County, and Charley Ray did her part to make sure it happened again. The Indians won by a set and slipped past the Rebels 2-1 thanks in part to Ray, who had 12 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Armuchee got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 16-25, 17-15.

Armuchee's victory bumped their record up to 21-12. As for Fannin County, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-14.

Coincidentally, Armuchee and Fannin County will both be playing Model the next time they take the court. The Rebels will head out to face the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
