Recap: Nandua Warriors vs. Northampton Yellowjackets
The Nandua Warriors entered their tilt with the Northampton Yellowjackets with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Nandua strolled past Northampton with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 32-15. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Nandua also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Nandua got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Stodghill out in front who threw for 171 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Reco Kellam also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Nandua's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Northampton, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 5-5.
Nandua is on the road again on Friday and play against Poquoson at 6:00 p.m. on November 10th. Poquoson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Nandua in Virginia (Poquoson is ranked 104th, while Nandua is ranked 296th). As for Northampton, they will head out on the road to face off against West Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
