There's no place like home for Callaway, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 65-25 victory over the Rutland Hurricanes. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 496th), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Callaway's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points over those games. As for Rutland, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Callaway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 35-33 victory against Westside on the 13th. Rutland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
