Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Lilly Lossiah and Kennedy Moore Lead Cherokee to Victory

Cherokee waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Summit Charter Bears with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-10.

Leading Cherokee to victory were Kennedy Moore and Lilly Lossiah. Moore had nine digs and three aces, while Lossiah had 17 assists. Lossiah is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.

They weren't the only good server: Cherokee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in three consecutive games.

Cherokee's record is now 3-1. As for Summit Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Cherokee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Swain County on the 21st. Summit Charter has also already played their next matchup (against Robbinsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
