Baseball Recap: Wadley Has No Trouble Against Randolph County

Wadley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Randolph County, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Wadley Bulldogs blew past the Randolph County Tigers 12-4 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Tigers last Monday, they had to take a 18-7 loss.

Ty Taylor made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Landon Gilliland, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Jaylon Marable was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
