Mohave Accelerated and Heritage Academy squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Mohave Accelerated had to settle for second. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their loss signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Kennedy Lamb was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 28-3. As for Heritage Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-4.

As of now, neither Mohave Accelerated nor the Heroes have any future games scheduled.
