Basketball Recap: Campbell Takes a Loss

Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Fannindel Falcons and fell 83-19. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Kor'Ziareona Aubrey continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fannindel, dropping a double-double on 55 points and 15 rebounds. The match was Aubrey's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Korshonti Aubrey, who went 8 for 12 en route to 18 points and seven boards.

Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-24. As for Fannindel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-16.

Campbell will challenge Ector at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Campbell is facing Ector at the right time seeing as Ector is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Fannindel has already played their next contest (against Miller Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
