Basketball Game Preview: Lake Center Christian Tiger vs. North Vikings

The Lake Center Christian Tiger are taking a road trip to square off against the North Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. North took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake Center Christian, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Lake Center Christian turned things around against Christian Community on Thursday. They managed a 40-34 win over the Warriors.

Meanwhile, North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of Garfield Heights.

Lake Center Christian will have to keep a close watch on Ce'Airah Underwood and Armonie Lewis, a pair of players who had a big impact on North's prior game. Underwood dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds, while Lewis dropped a double-double on 18 points and 20 boards. That was a full 50.9% of North's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Serenity Noel, who earned six points and 12 rebounds.

North's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Lake Center Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-13.
