Volleyball Recap: Granville Comes Up Short

Granville lost against Big Walnut back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Aces fell 2-0 to the Golden Eagles. The Blue Aces have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elle Mortimer paced Granville's offense, picking up five kills. Mortimer got some help from Frannie Dodd and her four assists.

Granville's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Big Walnut, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Granville has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Sheridan on the 13th. As for Big Walnut, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lancaster on the 13th.
