Volleyball Recap: Collinsville Comes Up Short

Collinsville was the 3-0 winner over Howe when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Collinsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Howe, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collinsville is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against S & S Consolidated at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Howe, they will venture away from home to challenge Tom Bean at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tomcats at the right time seeing as the Tomcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
