King's Academy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

When it comes to explaining why Andrew Jackson Academy lost, don't look at McKinnley Beard. Despite the final result, she had nine kills and six aces. Beard has been hot recently, having posted nine or more kills the last three times she's played.

King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6.

King's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Patrick Henry Academy on the 4th. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sumter on the 4th.
