King Philip Regional put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with  a   6-2  victory over the Oliver Ames Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2024.
 Nate Pennini tossed a big game,   pitching six innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   five  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk any time he's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side,  Tommy Gately was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.  Drew Herlin also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
King Philip Regional's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Oliver Ames,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King Philip Regional will challenge Westwood at 11:00  a.m.  on Tuesday. As for Oliver Ames, they will take on New Bedford at 10:30  a.m.  on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Whalers at the right time seeing as the Whalers are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
