Adding to the longest winning streak in 8-Man District 1 (8 Man) this week, Foothill beat Logan 57-42. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Falcons.
Springer/Maxwell took down Menaul 72-22 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Logan's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Longhorns feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Wyatt Strand has thrown for 1,013 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Michael Estrada has 20 catches for 519 yards. Strand also leads the league in rushing with 981 yards.
Strand of the the Longhorns is just 19 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 83 carries Strand has accumulated 981 yard this year.
The Devils made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,109 from 1,199. The improvement was largely due to a 72-22 victory over the Panthers last week.
