East Providence extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Alex Robinson. The Townies walked away with a 3-1 win over the La Salle Academy Rams on Tuesday for which the team can thank Robinson, who had six digs and two blocks. Robinson is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 22 every time he's taken the court this season.

The victory didn't come easy: La Salle Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 25-19, 25-22.

East Providence's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ean Williamson, who had 11 digs.

East Providence was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive contests.

East Providence's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for La Salle Academy, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

East Providence has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Bishop Hendricken on the 15th. As for La Salle Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Barrington on the 15th.
