Basketball Recap: Oliver Tumolo Key Part of a Team Effort in Bobcats Win

Bosque's game on Saturday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Menaul Panthers by a score of 60-52. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bosque's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Oliver Tumolo, who went 8 for 16 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds. Tumolo is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Josiah Wilson, who went 7 of 16 en route to 18 points and six boards.

Bosque is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Menaul, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bosque will head out to challenge Cottonwood Classical Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bosque is facing Cottonwood Classical Prep at the right time seeing as Cottonwood Classical Prep is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Menaul, they will face off against Oak Grove Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Grove Classical Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.
