Basketball Game Preview: Columbia Wildcats vs. Tylertown Chiefs + Official Tickets

Columbia is 1-9 against Tylertown since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. Columbia is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Columbia beat West Marion 52-46. The game marked the Wildcats' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Tylertown blew past Amite County, posting a 46-13 victory. The Chiefs have beaten the Trojans the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Columbia's record now sits at 3-1. As for Tylertown, their record is now 2-0.

Columbia came up short against Tylertown in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 52-42. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
