On Thursday, Loyd Star got the W thanks in part to Mason Smith playing the best baseball he has all season. Smith scored two runs while going 1-for-4, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in RBI.

Looking ahead, Smith and Loyd Star will square off against Bogue Chitto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loyd Star is 9-1 against Bogue Chitto going back to March of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
