Basketball Game Preview: Springfield Millers vs. Eagle Point Eagles

Springfield hasn't had much luck against Eagle Point recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Springfield Millers will head out to square off against the Eagle Point Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Springfield is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 22nd straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dallas.

Meanwhile, Eagle Point had to suffer through a 78-29 loss at the hands of Thurston. The Eagles have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Eagle Point, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

Springfield came up short against Eagle Point when the teams last played back in January, falling 66-53. Can Springfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
