Softball Recap: Saline Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Logansport, Saline was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Weston Wolves 14-12. Considering the Bobcats' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Saline's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Weston, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Saline will head out to square off against Lakeside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Weston, they will be playing at home against Georgetown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
