Baseball Recap: Shady Side Academy Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Wednesday. Shady Side Academy fell just short of Brighton by a score of 6-5. Shady Side Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

David Dillon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Brady Trischler, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Shady Side Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Brighton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Shady Side Academy is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brighton, they will face off against Golden at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
