Basketball Recap: Hibbing Takes a Loss

Hibbing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Esko Eskomos 67-33. The Bluejackets were not able to make up for their loss to the Eskomos from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Hibbing's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Esko, they moved to 5-12 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

When Hibbing and Esko next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Hibbing will try to stop Proctor's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Esko will challenge South Ridge and their three-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
