The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Veritas Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Veritas Christian Academy made easy work of Temple Baptist and carried off a 62-39 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.

Veritas Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaitlyn Miller led the charge by putting up seven points in addition to eight boards and eight steals. Miller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 34 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Miller, who went 7 of 14 on her way to 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Veritas Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 26 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Pinnacle Classical Academy didn't have too much trouble with Temple Baptist on Tuesday as they won 55-40.

Veritas Christian Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Veritas Christian Academy strolled past Pinnacle Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 46-31. Will Veritas Christian Academy repeat their success, or does Pinnacle Classical Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
