Basketball Game Preview: Abramson Commodores vs. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs

The Abramson Commodores will take on the New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Abramson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-37 to Eleanor McMain. The Commodores have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by Carver Collegiate Academy 65-28. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Rams are ranked 160th).

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Abramson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.

Abramson beat New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy 51-39 in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Does Abramson have another victory up their sleeve, or will New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
