Basketball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers came up short against the Lake Country Classical Academy Sentinels and fell 60-52.

Lake Country Classical Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but John Walker led the charge by going 6-for-9 en route to 15 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Ryan Low, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 18 points.

Palmyra-Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Lake Country Classical Academy, their record now sits at 12-9.

Coming up, Palmyra-Eagle will welcome Deerfield at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Deerfield will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Palmyra-Eagle surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Country Classical Academy, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Living Word Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
