Basketball Recap: Rio Vista Comes Up Short

Rio Vista lost against Valley Mills back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rio Vista Eagles took a 41-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Mills Eagles.

Rio Vista has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Valley Mills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Meridian the next time they take the court. Rio Vista will head out to face Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Valley Mills will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th.
