Basketball Recap: South Johnston Takes a Loss

South Johnston was the 53-45 winner over Hunt when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The South Johnston Trojans took a blow against the Hunt Warriors on Tuesday, falling 56-24. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

South Johnston's record is now 2-10. As for Hunt, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

South Johnston has already played their next game, a 44-41 win against Southern Wayne on the 15th. As for Hunt, they will venture away from home to challenge West Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Johnston will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hunt surely won't give up without a fight.
