Softball Game Preview: Park Tudor Panthers vs. Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars

The Park Tudor Panthers will take on the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Park Tudor will be strutting in after a victory while Greenwood Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Park Tudor will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs last Monday, then bounced right back against Providence Cristo Rey on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 20-4 win.

Traders Point Christian hit Greenwood Christian Academy with a four-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cougars lost 15-8 to the Knights. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaylee Edgar was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and 12 unearned) runs off 12 hits. Edgar was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Elle Schnake was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Sarai Gabrielle Robertson was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Greenwood Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Park Tudor, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
