Brophy College Prep came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Sunnyslope Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

While Brophy College Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-16.

Frank Sunderhaus paced Brophy College Prep's offense, picking up 15 kills. Sunderhaus got some help from Colin Zimmerman and his 34 assists. Raja Patel controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brophy College Prep pushed their record up to 22-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Sunnyslope, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Brophy College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Highland on the 14th. As for Sunnyslope, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Desert Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Thunder at the right time seeing as the Thunder are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
