Baseball Recap: Forgan Sets Scoring Season-High Against Arnett

Forgan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 22-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arnett Wildcats. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Forgan's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Arnett, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forgan will take on Turpin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arnett, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Arnett Wildcats take on Mooreland Bearcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Mooreland has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.82 runs per game on average), something Arnett will no doubt try to take advantage of.
