Volleyball Game Preview: Hyde Park Thunderbirds vs. Bogan Bengals

The Hyde Park Thunderbirds will face off against the Bogan Bengals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bogan took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hyde Park, who comes in off a win.

Hyde Park took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Goode STEM Academy 2-1.

Hyde Park was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (69-68), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-21, 18-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Bogan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Agricultural Science.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15.

Hyde Park's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Bogan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
