Orion lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Mercer County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's match. The Chargers blew past the Golden Eagles 8-1 on Monday. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Orion and bumps their season record up to 16-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Mercer County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orion will take on Sherrard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mercer County, they will square off against Princeville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
