Basketball Game Preview: Lakewood Lancers vs. Jackson Ironman/Ironladies

Having just played yesterday, the Lakewood Lancers will jump right back in to play the Jackson Ironman/Ironladies at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Lakewood will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Lakewood is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 57-56 to Newark Catholic. The matchup was a 28-28 toss-up at halftime, but the Lancers couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Jackson came up short against Miami Trace on Friday and fell 54-47. The Ironman/Ironladies have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Jackson, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
