Basketball Game Preview: Highland Rams vs. Brighton Bengals

Highland and Brighton are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Highland Rams just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Brighton Bengals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Highland is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Olympus, who was ranked sixth at the time (Highland was ranked seventh). Highland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-47 win over Olympus on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Brighton's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 60-53 to West.

Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Highland, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Highland was able to grind out a solid win over Brighton in their previous meeting on January 10th, winning 67-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Highland since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
