Burns is 9-1 against East Gaston since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Burns is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 56 points last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Stuart W. Cramer on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Storm, falling 53-13. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-9.

Meanwhile, East Gaston played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 60-31 loss at the hands of Highland Tech. The Warriors have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

East Gaston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Burns, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Burns against East Gaston in their previous matchup back in February, as the team secured a 60-19 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
