Neshannock had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the West Shamokin Wolves onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. The win was just business as usual For Neshannock, who after 26 games remain undefeated this season.
Addy Frye made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. Frye has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Frye was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with a home run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Miley Anderson, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Katherine Nativio, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
