Softball Recap: LAMP Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alabama Christian Academy, LAMP was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Montgomery Academy Eagles by a score of 9-6. The Golden Tigers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Alice Vickers, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Arin Sturdivant, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.

LAMP's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Montgomery Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LAMP will challenge Tallassee on Thursday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up.
