Natrona County waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 victory over the Star Valley Braves. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since January 6, 2024.

Natrona County pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Star Valley, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 9-8.

Natrona County will have a chance to go back-to-back against Star Valley: the pair will be back at it again later today.
