Heritage Christian wins going away against Calvary Baptist

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against The Christian School at Castle Hills, the Heritage Christian Eagles were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They strolled past Calvary Baptist with points to spare, taking the game 58-42. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Heritage Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Despite the loss, Calvary Baptist still got an impressive performance from Tyler Wilson, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The contest was Wilson's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Guisler, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

The victory got Heritage Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Calvary Baptist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Heritage Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Houston HomeSchool at 3:45 p.m. on December 8th. As for Calvary Baptist, they will face off against Alpha Omega Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alpha Omega Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Calvary Baptist in Texas (Alpha Omega Academy is ranked 388th, while Calvary Baptist is ranked 1180th).
