Basketball Recap: Islesboro Central Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Forest Hills, Islesboro Central was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Telstar Rebels by a score of 29-16.

Islesboro Central now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Telstar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Islesboro Central has already played their next contest (against Vinalhaven), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Telstar is taking a road trip to face off against Carrabec at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carrabec will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Telstar surely won't give up without a fight.
