Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Lifegate Christian against Salem Sayers Baptist Academy as the team secured a 68-26 win. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Anelyna Cavazos was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 25 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lifegate Christian's points. Sharla Maples was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine assists.

Lifegate Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Annapolis Christian Academy lost to Incarnate Word Academy on the road by a 45-26 margin on Tuesday. The Warriors have struggled against the Angels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lifegate Christian pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.9 points per game. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Lifegate Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Annapolis Christian Academy in their previous meeting on January 10th, sneaking past 31-28.
