Baseball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Joliet Catholic

Joliet Catholic waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Lincoln-Way East Griffins. For the Hilltoppers, this counts as revenge for the 9-6 win the Griffins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Joliet Catholic pushed their record up to 21-14 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln-Way East, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-10.
