Baseball Recap: Orange County Comes Up Short

Orange County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 4-1 to the William Monroe Dragons. The matchup marked the Fighting Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Orange County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for William Monroe, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Orange County and William Monroe will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Fighting Hornets are set to face off against their familiar foe Louisa County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, William Monroe will square off against rival Rockbridge County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
