Flag Football Game Preview: Sierra Timberwolves vs. Manteca Buffaloes

For the second straight game, Sierra will face off against Manteca. The Timberwolves will face off against the Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sierra will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Sierra was able to grind out a solid victory over Manteca, taking the game 13-6.

Sierra found their leader in sophomore Kileyann O'Neill, who made four total tackles and defended three passes in addition to snagging an interception which she returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Sierra didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of O'Neill and Natalie Ruvalcaba. O'Neill is on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last six games she's played. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Sierra's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Manteca, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.
