Sargent entered their tilt with Trinidad on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Miners with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Farmers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sargent took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-11.

Sargent's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Trinidad, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
