The Big Sandy Red Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Waverly Central on the road and fell 57-27. Big Sandy has struggled against Waverly Central recently, as their contest on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Big Sandy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bailey Berry, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and four blocks, and Serenity Chapman who scored four points along with four blocks. That was a full 37% of Big Sandy's points, marking the 14th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Big Sandy dropped their record down to 2-18 with that loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Waverly Central, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
