Volleyball Recap: Myrtle Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Myrtle took on Ingomar on Monday. The Hawks came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0. The Hawks have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

While Myrtle was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-14.

Myrtle's loss dropped their record down to 7-16-1. As for Ingomar, their victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-4-1.

Myrtle has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Byhalia on the 30th. As for Ingomar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Tupelo Christian Prep on the 30th.
